We want to recognize a special teacher today as part of our daily Something Good.

Amy Duncan teaches at Edison Preparatory School and has served in several roles throughout her career including as a sign language interpreter and deaf education teacher. She currently teaches students grades 6 through 12 who are deaf and hard of hearing and have multiple disabilities.

The person who nominated Mrs. Duncan says "Joy is what comes to mind when people think of Mrs. Duncan. She genuinely loves and cares about each one of her students. I admire Mrs. Duncan's heart for her students, and her desire for them to succeed both in the classroom, and in their personal lives."
