American Airlines is starting a new non-stop flight from Tulsa, Oklahoma to Phoenix, Arizona.

The first flight will leave Tulsa International Airport at 7 a.m. on Thursday.

The CEO of Tulsa International Airport will be at the take off event as will the TIA Director of Air Service Marketing.

The most recent non-stop flight from Tulsa was with Allegiant Airlines who began a non-stop service from Tulsa to Nashville, Tennessee in June of 2020.

The new American Airlines route to Phoenix is set to have daily flights.
