The former Oilton Police Chief has been charged with 3 counts of domestic assault.

Carl Stout is accused of hitting his wife in the face and grabbing his 2-step-children by the throat on different occasions. Stout was on administrative leave during the investigation.

In early January he resigned from his position as the town's Police Chief.
