The City of Chickasha has put up a new holiday display in honor of a resident who passed away this year.

The city has put up a nearly 40-foot tall inflatable leg lamp, similar to the one see in "A Christmas Story."

Noland James, who passed away earlier this year, was a Chickasha resident who claimed in his obituary that he had made a leg lamp prototype that was later used in the film.

The city decided to put up the inflatable in his honor.
