Former University of Oklahoma Football Head Coach Bob Stoops will be temporarily returning to Norman.

The return comes after current Head Football Coach Lincoln Riley asked Stoops to help out while he is short-staffed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Stoops released a statement on Tuesday where he stated that he is happy to help add some enthusiasm or positive energy to the players, but wants to make sure that everyone knows that Coach Riley is still in charge.

OU is Scheduled to host Baylor on Saturday night.
