Planet Fitness is joining the long list of retailers and public spaces to begin a mask mandate as cases of COVID-19 spike in parts of the United States.

Planet Fitness says it is requiring members wear a mask at all 1,450 of its locations beginning August 1st.

However, people only have to have their masks on while they're moving around the gym and not while actively working out.
