Trash collection will move forward one day for most City of Tulsa trash collection customers for the two weeks including Christmas and New Year's, the city said in a news release.

Trash will be picked up as usual on Monday, December 24 and Monday, December 31. 

Otherwise, Tuesday customers will be collected on Wednesday, Wednesday customers on Thursday - and so on. If you have your trash picked up twice a week, Monday/Thursday customers will see no change but Tuesday/Friday customers will be collected on Wednesday/Friday. Wednesday/Saturday customers will be collected on Thursday/Saturday.

City Hall and other city facilities will be closed Monday, December 24, Tuesday, December 25 and Tuesday, January 1, 2019. Public safety departments will run as usual.

The City of Tulsa Animal Welfare Shelter will be open Christmas Eve Day from noon to 4 p.m. but closed Christmas and New Year's Day.
