Both Markell Woodard and Donnie Jamison had been charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of Kentrael Anderson.
Investigators say Anderson was shot during a drug deal gone bad. Woodard pled guilty to a reduced charge of second-degree murder - and a judge sentenced him to 40 years in prison.
Jamison's murder charge was dropped - and he pled guilty to drug possession - and received a deferred sentence.
