Tulsa Police are on the scene of an officer-involved shooting that occurred after a chase.

Officers say it began when shots were fired at the Joy Mart located at 2112 South Garnett Rd. Officers then chased the vehicle with a man and woman inside until it got a flat tire. The woman got out of the car but the man moved into the driver's seat and sped off. He eventually reached a dead end in a Tulsa neighborhood near 2800 south 112^th east ave.

According to TPD Officer Jeanne Pierce, the man then tried to escape but was shot by an officer. He has been taken to a hospital and is reportedly in critical condition.
