Man Breaks Into Tulsa Homes Looking For 'Trafficked Kids,' Police Say

A man is in jail after Tulsa police say he kicked in the door of some apartments Tuesday afternoon - claiming he was looking for child trafficking victims.

Police say Billy Jo Faughn kicked in the door of two apartments near Admiral and Harvard, saying he was looking for trafficked kids or his daughter. He also entered a garage, climbed through an attic and down through the ceiling into an occupied house on Gary Avenue, authorities said.

"He did not assault the occupants but rummaged through the residences looking for unknown children," a police report states.

Officers quickly caught Faughn and arrested him on three complaints complaints of first-degree burglary. Police said they think he was under the influence of drugs.
