Salina Schools in Mayes County promises to take appropriate disciplinary action against a student suspected of threatening to shoot up the school Thursday.

Superintendent Tony Thomas says the school went on lockdown as soon as administrators found out about the threat.

Thomas says the student was removed from campus and police secured the school until everyone left today.
