KHITS Tornado Recovery

A rare EF-2 tornado struck Midtown Tulsa Sunday just after 1AM. Most of the damage happened in the area of 41st and I-44. There were two other confirmed tornadoes in Broken Arrow and Oolagah just shortly after the tornado in Tulsa. Here is some helpful information for recovery: 

City of Tulsa Green Waste Facility is offering free drop off of limbs or trees that were damaged in the storm.

A genuine thank you to our first responders; Tulsa Fire, EMSA, and Tulsa Police who were able to help and rescue people in need. Thanks to their efforts the loss of life was prevented.
