Workplace Noise In Daytime Linked To Sleep Problems At Night

Working in a noisy place can lead to sleep problems at night.  

Researchers found that when workers had jobs where they were exposed to a lot of noise, they had higher blood pressure and higher levels of the stress-hormone cortisol after work.

They also got less restful sleep that night, compared to days with lower daytime noise exposure.
