OFFICIAL RULES (KHTT-FM)
The following describes the Official Contest Rules for the 2026 K-Hits Pumpkin Town Ultimate Pass Giveaway (the “Contest”). Contest entrants must be eligible and qualify to win by satisfying the term, requirements, and conditions set forth below:
- NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO WIN: A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. OPEN TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA WHO ARE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER, AND LIVE WITHIN THE 106.9 K-HITS DESIGNATED MARKET AREA, AS DEFINED BY NIELSEN MEDIA RESEARCH, INC. (“DMA”) EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE PROVIDED IN THESE OR SPECIFIC CONTEST RULES. FOR A COPY OF THE DMA MAP, VISIT www.khits.com/contests.
- SPONSOR: The sponsor of the Contest is Griffin Media (“Sponsor”), 303 N. Boston Avenue, Tulsa, OK 74103.
- CONTEST FACILITATOR AND CONTEST OFFICIALS: The Sponsor shall also serve as the “Contest Facilitator” with responsibility for administering the Contest. “Contest Officials” designated by the management of the Contest Facilitator shall be responsible for interpretation and enforcement of the Contest Rules. Contest Officials shall have the right to disqualify any participant for violation of the Contest Rules and to resolve all disputes in their sole discretion. The Contest Facilitator reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to alter, change, cancel or suspend this Contest, for any reason whatsoever, without prior notification.
- ELIGIBILITY: This Contest is open to all U.S. citizens and legal U.S. residents, eighteen (18) years of age as of the date they enter, who live in the State of Oklahoma, and reside within the Tulsa DMA except as otherwise provided in these contest rules. Current employees of Sponsor and their designees or agents or their parent companies (including but not limited to Griffin Media), affiliated stations or companies (including but not limited to News 9 (KWTV), News on 6 (KOTV), The Tulsa CW (KQCW), KSBI, 106.9 K-Hits (KHTT), 98.5 The Bull (KXBL), Big Country 99.5 (KVOO), 92.9 The River (KRQV), and 1170 KOTV-AM, subsidiaries, divisions, and their advertising and promotional agencies and their respective officers, directors, and agents (collectively the “Contest Entities”) and the immediate family members and persons living in the same household of each, are not eligible to enter or win.
- ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS: Only one (1) prize may be awarded per household for the duration of this contest. Individuals who have won a prize in any other contest hosted or conducted by GRIFFIN MEDIA must wait thirty (30) days from the date they were notified of their most recent win before becoming eligible to win again. Likewise, any winner of this contest will not be eligible to win a prize from any other contest hosted or conducted by GRIFFIN MEDIA for thirty (30) days following the date they are notified of their winning status.
- CONTEST PERIOD: The Contest begins at 12:00 AM Central Time (“CT”) on September 28, 2026, and ends at 11:59 PM CT on October 25, 2026. The clock of the Contest Facilitator is the official Contest clock. Entries received after this deadline shall be deemed null and void and will not be included in the prize winner selection.
- HOW TO ENTER: During the Contest Period, visit https://www.khits.com/pumpkin-town-farmsand complete the online entry form. All entries must include the following information:
- Participant’s Name
- Participant’s Town/Zip
- Participant’s Cell Phone Number
- Participant’s Email Address
- Photo Upload
- Verification that Participant is at least 18 years of age or older
- Verification that all information provided in this form is accurate
- Election to receive or decline email and/or text updates from 106.9 K-Hits
If a participant does not have an email address or phone number, they should respond with “None.” However, either a phone number or email address is required for both the nominator and the nominee to be eligible in the event of selection. Entries missing this information will be deemed null and void.
Entries must be received by 11:59 PM on October 25, 2026. Only one (1) entry per person, per week, will be accepted. Contest Facilitator will not be responsible for incorrect, misspelled, late, incomplete and/or system rejected entries due to any technical misfunction. No purchase necessary. Any attempt by any participant to submit more than one (1) entry by using multiple/different email addresses, phone numbers, identities, or any other methods will void that participant from further participation in this contest. Multiple participants are not permitted to share the same email address or phone number. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification. - ALTERNATE FORM OF ENTRY: To enter using the Alternate Form of Entry, participants may submit a completed Entry Form via email at radioprizes@griffin.news with “GRIFFIN MEDIA: 2026 K-Hits Pumpkin Town Ultimate Pass Giveaway” in the subject line or by mail to Griffin Media, addressed as follows: “GRIFFIN MEDIA: 2026 K-Hits Pumpkin Town Ultimate Pass Giveaway, 303 N. Boston Avenue, Tulsa, OK 74103.” All Alternate Forms of Entry must be legible and must include the same information as the online entry form, more specifically as follows:
- Participant’s Name
- Participant’s Photo Entry for that week
- Participant’s Town/Zip
- Participant’s Cell Phone Number
- Participant’s Email Address
- Verification that Participant is at least 18 years of age or older
- Verification that all information provided in this form is accurate
- Election to receive or decline email and/or text updates from 106.9 K-Hits
In the event an Alternate Form of Entry is incomplete or is not legible, such entry will be deemed null and void and will not be included in the Winner Selection process. Participants who submit such entry may or may not be notified if this occurs. At the end of promotional period, all valid entries received, either by online entry form or by the Alternate Form of Entry, will be combined, and Eight (8) will be selected by Contest Officials, based on responses included on the Entry Forms. All Alternate Forms of Entries must be received on or before 11:59 PM (CST) on October 25, 2026.
- PRIZE AND WINNER SELECTION: Throughout the Contest Period, Eight (8) winners will be selected by Contest Officials based on Selection by committee based on creativity toward that week’s theme. The theme week schedule is listed below:
- Week 1, September 28th – October 4th, 2026: American Heroes, includes active-duty military members, veterans, law enforcement officers, firefighters and EMTS.
- Week 2, October 5th – October 11th, 2026: Fairy Tale & Superheroes, includes princesses and superheroes.
- Week 3, October 12th – October 18th, 2026: Pet Rescue Weekend
- Week 4, October 19th – October 25th, 2026: Grandparents Weekend
Up to two (2) winners will be drawn per week. Prizewinners will receive one (1) Prize. Prize includes but is not limited to: Four (4) pack of ultimate pass tickets to Pumpkin Town Farms, which includes general admission, general activities, plus entry for all barnyard extras. Located at: 6060 S. Garnett Rd., Tulsa, OK 74146 (Total Value: $99.80)
The prize, or any portion thereof, is non-transferable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and has no cash value.
Each winner shall not be eligible to participate in or win any other contest or promotion hosted or conducted by the Contest Entities for thirty (30) days immediately following the date they are notified of their winning status. - PRIZE DISTRIBUTION, CONDITIONS, AND ODDS OF WINNING:
Each winner must have a valid ID to claim their prize. Contest Facilitator reserves the right to require additional identification and may choose to deny awarding the prize based on falsification of identification, fraud, ineligibility, or other failure to comply with the Contest Rules.
All prizes may be revoked by the Contest Administrator under the additional following conditions: (1) a winner cannot be reached within twenty-four (24) hours of winner selection; (2) Contest Facilitator is unable to leave a voicemail due to a full voicemail box or because the mailbox is not properly set-up; (3) a winner does not return a phone call within forty-eight (48) hours of a message left by Contest Facilitator; (4) a winner is determined to be ineligible for the Contest; or (5) any other reason set forth in the Contest Rules.
Odds of winning depend on the number of contest entries received. - TAXES AND COSTS RELATED TO PRIZES: All federal, state, and local tax liabilities (including income taxes), as well as any expenses associated with the acceptance or use of a prize — including, but not limited to, gasoline, insurance, and maintenance — are the sole responsibility of each winner. If a winner receives, or has already received, prizes from any other contest(s) sponsored by Sponsor, Contest Facilitator, and/or any of the Contest Entities during the 2026 calendar year, the value of those prizes will be combined with the value of this prize. If the total value of all prizes received during the 2026 calendar year exceeds $1,200, each winner will receive a Form 1099 from Griffin reflecting the total value of all prizes awarded during the 2026 calendar year.
- GENERAL CONDITIONS: By participating in this Contest, all entrants agree (a) to abide by these and any additional specific official rules and the decisions of the Contest Entities and Contest Officials designated by Contest Facilitator, which will be binding and final in all respects; (b) to the use of information by the Contest Entities for marketing and advertising purposes as allowed by applicable privacy policies and law; (c) to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Contest Entities and their officers, directors, employees and agents from any and all liability, claims, lawsuits, costs, expenses, fees, injuries (including death), losses, and damages resulting or alleged to result from participation in the Contest, acceptance or use of any prize, and/or from entrants fraudulent or otherwise wrongful acts or omissions; (d) not to sue the Contest Entities for any damages alleged to arise from winner’s acceptance of or use of the prize(s); and (e) to the use of the entrants, name, voice, biography, and likeness by Contest Entities without further notice or compensation for promotion, advertising, filing, and dissemination purposes, except where otherwise prohibited by law.
Contest Entities are not responsible for lost, late, damaged, misdirected, undelivered, undeliverable, incomplete, or unreadable entries. Contest Entities are not responsible for lost entries due to telephonic or electronic malfunctions. Contest Officials may prohibit an entrant from participating in the Contest or winning a prize if, in their sole discretion, it determines that said entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest by cheating, deception, or other unfair playing practices or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other entrants or Contest Entities representatives. If for any reason this Contest is not capable of running as planned as a result of any causes beyond the reasonable control of Contest Entities including but not limited to tampering, unauthorized intervention or fraud which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Contest, then, Contest Officials reserve the right at their sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Contest. The rules can be modified at any time without notice. - DISPUTES: All entrants and Sponsor (together “the Parties”) agree that: (1) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or in connection with this Contest, or any prizes awarded, shall be resolved in the following manner: (a) Negotiation - The Parties first shall use reasonable efforts to discuss and negotiate a resolution of the controversy; (b) Arbitration. If the efforts to negotiate a resolution do not succeed, the Parties shall resolve the controversy by final and binding arbitration in accordance with the Rules for Commercial Arbitration of the American Arbitration Association (the “Rules”) and pursuant to the following additional provisions; (c) Applicable Law - The Parties agree that the internal laws of Oklahoma shall govern the construction of the terms and the application of the provisions of the Contest and that all disputes will be resolved in accordance with Oklahoma law; (2) Selection of Arbitrators - The Parties shall select one arbitrator within ten (10) days after the filing of a demand and submission in accordance with the Rules. If the Parties fail to agree on an arbitrator within that ten (10)-day period or fail to agree to an extension of that period, the arbitration shall take place before an arbitrator selected in accordance with the Rules; (3) Location of Arbitration. The arbitration shall take place in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and the arbitrator shall issue any award at the place of arbitration. The arbitrator may conduct hearings and meetings at any other place agreeable to the Parties or, upon the motion of a party, determined by the arbitrator as necessary to obtain significant testimony or evidence; (4) Enforcement of Award - The prevailing party shall have the right to enter the award of the arbitrator in any court having jurisdiction over one or more of the Parties or their assets. The Parties specifically waive any right they may have to apply to any court for relief from any decision of the arbitrator made prior to the award; (5) Attorneys’ Fees and Costs - The prevailing party to the arbitration shall have the right to an award of its reasonable attorneys’ fees, costs, and expenses incurred after the filing of the demand and submission.
- LIMITATION OF LIABILITY/GOVERNING LAW: All entrants agree that by entering the Contest they waive any and all rights to claim actual, punitive, incidental, and consequential damages, and any other damages, against Sponsors and their designees or agents. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these official Contest Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrants and the Sponsors and their designees or agents in connection with this Contest shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oklahoma, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions (whether of the State of Oklahoma or any other jurisdiction), that would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than those of the State of Oklahoma.
WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, EVERYTHING REGARDING THIS CONTEST, INCLUDING THE PRIZES, IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. - RIGHT TO USE NAME, PHOTO, VOICE, AND LIKENESS: By participating, all participants automatically grant Contest Facilitators, Griffin Media and/or Pumpkin Town Farms, and their designees the right to use his/her name, voice, photograph, image, likeness, address (city and state), biographical information, prize information and/or statements about this promotion for advertising and publicity purposes in all media (including social media) at the discretion of the Contest Facilitator(s), without limitation, for an unlimited time and without further compensation or notice.
