Where: Walmart Supercenter - 207 S. Memorial Drive - Garden Center
Rotarians and Tulsa Police officers team up each year to shop with at-risk children from Celia Clinton Elementary School—many of whom may only know law enforcement through negative experiences. Each child is paired with both an officer and a Rotarian: the officer helps the student shop for gifts for their family (from a provided list), while the Rotarian secretly selects presents for the child.
Together, the goal is to brighten the holidays for these children and their families while also showing a more compassionate, human side of law enforcement.
