MSNBC's Keith Olbermann bashing President Bush is nothing new. Only this time, one of the cable host's rants concluded in a full on “shut the hell up”.
Olbermann blasted the president's claims that he gave up golf in solidarity for the troops that have lost their lives over seas while fighting the war in Iraq. Olbermann said the real reason Bush hadn’t been seen golfing was because of an injury to his leg, not the war in Iraq.
Olbermann ended his 12 minute rant by saying “This last piece of advice. When somebody asks you, sir, about Democrats who must now pull this country back from the abyss ... about the cooked books and fake threats .. about your gallant, self-abnegating sacrifice of your golf game ... shut the hell up.” video below. Dos and don'ts when a tornado is approaching
DOS:
-If you are already inside a structure, go to a pre-designated shelter area such as a safe room, basement, storm cellar or the lowest building level. Avoid areas near windows.
-Listen to Weather Radio, regular radio or television for tornado updates. (Battery-powered devices are best, in case the electricity goes out.)
-Crouch as low as possible to the floor, facing down. Cover the back of your head with your hands.
-If you're in a mobile home, get out, even if it's tied down. You're probably safer outside, even if that means seeking shelter out in the open.
-If you're outside with no shelter, lie flat in a ditch or depression and cover your head with your hands. Be aware of the potential for flooding.
---
DON'TS:
-Don't use your car as shelter.
-Don't open the windows in your home. You may be exposed to flying glass if you're opening windows when the twister hits.
-Don't use elevators. You could get trapped if the power is lost.
-Don't go to the southwest corner of your shelter - most tornadoes approach from the southwest.
-Don't park under an overpass. It may seem like good shelter, but it can actually be more dangerous than open ground. A...

Thanks for everyone who called today for "To Spank or Not To Spank!" A survey found that 7 out of 10 mothers say spanking is the way they punish their child. An email we received said, "I soooo agree with the lady on spanking!! That is the problem with todays kids, they do not get discipline or be corrected. If parent chooses to correct them - they will rat on you! Therefore parents feel like their hands are tied - unable to do anything; the kids get away with it. Todays kids learn too much at younger age from school in manipulating the system." We had calls saying its OK, some saying it depens on the child, and others who think spanking is wrong 100% of the time. Five alternatives to spanking are: 1. Hold a screaming child firmly but gently on your lap until he calms down.2. Take away watching TV, playing outside, or talking on the phone.3. Give choices you can live with. "You can set the table, and play outside later, or NOT set the table and NOT play outside later."4. Work together to write down family rules. Put them where everyone can see them.5. Have your child sit on a chair for the same number...
