2 Works for You Storm Shield Weather: Today's forecast for Tulsa and northeast Oklahoma

A storm over the southwestern United States is sending smaller impulses out across the southern plains.  These rainmakers will move through Oklahoma Saturday and Saturday night.  Bottom-line, rain is likely this weekend.

As for this evening, clouds will continue to thicken as the storm system gets closer.  It appears the weather will remain dry for high school football championship games in the Tulsa area.  Temperatures will cool back into the upper 40s by later in the evening.  The wind will remain light.

Overnight, a large area of light rain will overspread Oklahoma.  Bedlam looks rainy & cold in Norman, while here in Green country, the steadiest, longest lasting rain will be from Stillwater to Tulsa to Grove and south all the way to the Red River.
