We will be left with a very humid day. Highs will be in the mid to upper 80s with south winds.
We are expecting a break in the clouds today with some sunshine. If showers and storms do develop this afternoon along the dry line to the west, we could potentially see some of those storms move into Green Country. The atmosphere continues to be very unstable, and almost a hot bed for developing storms.
With that said, we are still under just a "marginal" risk for seeing severe weather today. Thursday looks to be our best chance for severe weather. It will be late Thursday into Friday. By Friday the upper-level system should move out of the area. However, a few left over showers and storms are possible each day over the holiday weekend.Read full story
