Porter Youth Pastor Charged In Federal Court With Sexually Abusing Children

A youth pastor from Porter serving a 20-year prison sentence for sexually abusing children is now charged in federal court.

Joe Cheater Jr. is charged with sexually abusing five children between 2005 and 2009.

It is possible Cheater’s state charges from Rogers County will be dropped because of the Supreme Court’s ruling on tribal jurisdiction. That decision will be made sometime in the next month.
