Former OKC Zoo Employee Pleads Guilty To Trafficking Endangered Baby Tortoises

A former Oklahoma City Zoo employee pleaded guilty to trafficking endangered baby tortoises that he stole from the zoo.

Joshua Lucas pleaded guilty in federal court to stealing 21 Galapagos tortoise hatchlings and shipping them to a man in Nevada.

Lucas will have to spend three years on probation, do 100 hours of community service and pay the zoo $32,000.
