Pixie is a female,6lb, tan chihuahua. Pixie's estimated date of birth is April 2008. Pixie was rescued from the Pryor Shelter. She is housetrained and will use puppy pads in bad weather. Pixie doesn't like to be crated and gets quite anxious about it. She doesn't like to be poked at (but then who does!) and would be best in a home without children. She seems to be more comfortable with women better than men. She is good with other dogs but is not really interested in playing with them. Pixie is good on a leash and in the car. She is afraid of thunderstorms. She is a little shy but will seek you out for affection. She's hoping for a quieter home to be the loved and cherished pet.

The Bent Arrow Clinic would  like to introduce you to the very special pipe puppies! As many of you may have seen on the news firefighters had to cut 9 puppies out of a pipe where their mother had them. Their mother is a 25lb dark colored mix breed. We do not know who daddy is. Now the puppies are in rescue and looking for their forever homes. They have another couple of weeks before they are fully weened from their mother but we are accepting applications on them now to be released when weened. Chaucer is a male, black and white lab mix. Chaucer's date of birth is Jan 20th 2010.

Bandit is a male, 12lb, white and black papillion. He's about 3 years old and seems to be house-trained. Papillion's are loving, agile dogs. They usually do well in agility classes and are very intelligent. If taken regularly to a veterinarian and given good care, they can live to be 15 or 16 years old. Bandit loves to be around people and other dogs.

Digby is a male, 10lb, blonde terrier mix. He is about a year old and a real sweetheart! Happy, friendly, and full of kisses, Digby was rescued from the Sand Springs Shelter. He is a bundle of joy and as cute as a button. He gets along great with other dogs and is very smart. He is almost housetrained after only a few days of training. Digby has wiry hair and the hair curls along his back to his curly tail. How adorable is that?

Slim is a male, 7lb tri color chihuahua mix. His estimated date of birth is May 2008. He was rescued from a breeder or puppy mill and was in bad shape when we got him. He has improved and is a lovely, sweet boy. He will need to go into a home with another socialized dog and no children younger than 9 or 10. He uses a doggy door, but doesn't do well yet without one. His new owner(s) will have to be patient and understanding as he takes a few days to warm up to new people. But you won't be able to find a more loving, appreciative furry kid! He has a lot to learn about the big world and just needs someone to teach him.
